The Church - The Bride & Body of Christ

With great affection, the Bible refers to the church as the bride of Christ. The New Testament also refers to the church as the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul said, “Just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.” What does it mean to be the body of Christ? It’s about believing, it’s about belonging, and it’s about becoming.
