INSPIRING PEOPLE - ESTHER

Esther is one of the most inspiring and courageous people in the Bible. A Jewish orphan girl who became the queen of Persia. She became queen “for such a time as this.” Genocide had been decreed on her people and she stood at the center of one of the most chilling moments in world history. Her words changed the heart of a king and altered the destiny of millions of people. We have “for such a time as this” moments too. Moments when something must be said. When we must be prepared to stand up and speak up. The lesson from Esther’s life is that God often puts us in specific places to speak up in specific moments.
