Why Church? - The Bride of Christ

Why church? Because the church is the greatest enterprise on the planet, because its sole purpose is to change the eternal destiny of as many people as possible. The purpose of the church is to point people to Jesus and to share the message of salvation through faith in Him. Jesus voluntarily extended His arms on the cross and sacrificed His life for us. That’s how much He loved us. Because of His love for us, because we are the bride of Christ, the church is precious to Jesus, and it should be precious to us. Acts 2:42-47 is a portrait of the bride of Christ. It describes the values, the activities, and the strategy of the church. Acts 2 also reflects the spirit of the people. May Acts 2 be the prayer for our church. May the description of the church in Acts 2 would be a description of us.
