Beyond Bethlehem ... what really happened

As one who was there, there is no one better than Zechariah to explain what Bethlehem means. With his insights as a Jewish priest and expert in prophecy, he understood that the convergence of every promise of God was being fulfilled in a manger in Bethlehem. How exciting it must have been for Zechariah to be alive at that moment in history. His miracle son John would introduce the Messiah to the world, and His name would be called Jesus, the Savior of the world. That means Christmas is the celebration of our salvation, and Jesus is our salvation.
