David's Prayer of Adoration
May 11, 2025 • Monty Watson
David “sat before the Lord” and was humbled that God cared about him. “Who am I?” he said (2 Samuel 7:18). Later in Psalm 8, he said, “Who are we that you should care about us?” David was amazed that someone as big as God would care about someone as small as him. And that’s why he often repeated the phrase, “There is none like You!” So what can we learn from David’s prayer? Humility, gratitude, and awe. These are the ingredients to a true prayer of adoration.
