ACTS - Peter ... taking his stand

Acts 5 is the story of Peter taking his stand. Following the resurrection, Peter boldly preached on the streets of Jerusalem and faced opposition and threats for doing so. He was arrested and tortured, yet Peter said, “We cannot stop speaking what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20, NAS). And if Jesus means as much to us as He meant to Peter, we too will say, “We cannot stop speaking what we have seen and heard.”
