Red with Anger
If you were a color, what color would you be? Yeah, it’s a dumb question, but not as dumb as it sounds. Think about it. Life is filled with ups and downs and the various circumstances of life “color” how we feel. Yes, there is a color to our emotions. You’ve heard phrases like “red with anger” and “green with envy.” And, when someone is sad, they say, “I’m feeling blue.” And someone who is afraid is called “yellow.”
Anger, sadness, fear, and envy are serious emotions, and if unchecked and unprocessed, can rob us of joy and sabotage our relationships. This message is about being red with anger. It’s about those times when we are mad, furious, aggravated, irritated, annoyed, frustrated, provoked, and ticked off. And it happens more often than we would like to admit. So what are we to do with anger?
