ABIDE - Loving Him

Two of the most important questions Jesus ever asked He asked of Peter. The first was “Who do you say I am?” To which Peter passionately declared, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:15-16). Who is Jesus? That’s a question every person must answer, because the answer determines a person’s eternity. The second great question Jesus asked Peter was “Do you love Me?” (John 21:15). He asked Peter that question three times. It’s a question we must ponder, consider deeply, and not answer too quickly. “Do you love Me?” Not do you know about Jesus. Not do you believe He is the Son of God, which is certainly important. But “Do you love Me? “Do you love Me?” So, what does it mean to love Jesus?
