HOPE - Because He Promises to Help

We have hope because “hope is a Person.” Hope is not wishful thinking. Hope is a person. And because our hope is in God – a God who is great, a God who is good, and a God who loves us – we can rejoice in advance, acting as if we have already received His promises. Therefore, we “rejoice in hope” (Romans 12:12). Psalm 46 is a psalm of hope. It promises God’s help. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Whatever you’re going through, you can know that God promises to be there when you need Him most.
