HOPE - When God Doesn't Make Sense

Monty Watson

We keep going back to Job because we’re just like him. Our faith says God is good, God is sovereign, and God loves us. But when life knocks the breath out of us, our feelings cry out, “Lord, where are You, and why won’t You do something?” Tragedy puts theology to the test. It always does. So the greatest lesson we need to learn from Job is to trust WHO when you do not understand WHY. That’s the essence of faith. That’s the key to endurance. Trusting God when we do not understand why we are suffering.
