The Fruit of the Spirit ... KINDNESS

Random acts of kindness warm our hearts and restore our faith in humanity, and we applaud them. Yet sadly, we also see random acts of meanness and random acts of violence. When we look around, we wonder what happened to kindness and gentleness? We’ve lost all civility in cultural conversation. Everything today is politicized and polarized. Take any issue and we quickly draw a line in the sand. We’ve forgotten how to be kind. Kindness is not even valued that much anymore. Yet, kindness is still a priority in God’s eyes and kindness is to be a priority virtue in the life of every Christian. Kindness, goodness, and gentleness are included in the Galatians 5 list of the fruit of the Spirit.
