Your Name ... Your Kingdom ... Your Will

The Lord’s Prayer is a prayer of submission, a prayer of surrender and alignment. “Your name … Your kingdom … Your will.” It calls us to live for His name, glorifying His name. To live for His Kingdom, engaging in His mission. To live for His will, submitting to His Lordship and living in obedience. The Lord’s Prayer teaches us to align our hearts with God before we ask anything from God.
