Trusting His Silence

We ask “Why?” when life hurts, when life is scary, and when life is overwhelming. We also we ask “Why?” when God doesn’t make sense. God promises to hear our prayers and promises to respond to our prayers. Yet sometimes, many times, there is silence. And that silence is confusing. Sometimes, God does not answer our prayers. Some say that there is no such thing as unanswered prayer. That God always answers – either yes, no, or wait. I believe that too, yet it is undeniable that sometimes, many times, God is silent. According to Psalm 69, walking with God means trusting His silence. It’s trusting WHO when we do not understand WHY.
