As Christians, we believe the Bible is God’s word and we believe it is true. Second Timothy 3:16 declares the theology of the Bible. “All Scripture is inspired by God.” The Bible is revelation from God, inspired by God, and reliable and true. Therefore it is authoritative over our lives, and we are obligated to obey it. But not everyone believes that. An increasingly prevalent view in our culture is that the Bible is unreliable and irrelevant. So, this message is a response to some common objections people have about the Bible, reasons why they do not believe it is true or relevant.
