PROVERBS - Wealth - The money prayer

When we pray about money, we usually pray, “God, help! I need more money!” The disciple’s money prayer is different. The moment you hand your life over to Jesus, you hand everything over to Jesus. That includes your money. The disciple’s “money prayer” is for a heart of generosity, sacrifice, contentment, surrender, and trust. But why does money matter to God? Because your attitude toward money and how you spend money reveals something about your heart. Why does money matter to God? Because it proves He has your heart.
