PROVERBS - Trust - When things are out of your control

Proverbs 3:5-6 is a favorite verse for many and also the key to the Christian life. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This is not a quaint saying to frame and hang on the wall. This is the foundation on which we stand. “Trust in the Lord.” When life is out of our control, when we don’t understand what’s going on, when we can’t fix things, and when we can’t escape our circumstances, the only thing we can do is trust the one who is in control.
