PROVERBS - Justice - Feeling what God feels and doing something about it

Justice is one of the main themes in Solomon’s proverbs. He said, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy” (Proverbs 31:8-9). When it comes to issues of injustice, we can be like the two religious men in the parable of the Good Samaritan, who stepped over the injured man in the road and walked on by. Since we see injustice all around us, may we be like the Good Samaritan who “felt compassion” and stopped to help. So, when it comes to issues of justice, we must ask ourselves, how does God feel about that and how are we to feel about that?
