PROVERBS - The Fool - Why do we do foolish things?

No matter how smart we are, all of us do stupid things. That’s why King Solomon said, “Pursue wisdom” (Proverbs 4:7). Solomon wrote over 3,000 proverbs. And even though they were written 3,000 years ago, they are just as relevant today as they were then. “From the window of my house,” Solomon wrote, “I looked out the lattice and saw” people make all kinds of foolish choices (Proverbs 7:6-7). Every day, he observed people suffer the consequences for ignoring God’s wisdom. And that’s the difference between a life of blessing and a life of regret.
