PROVERBS - Wisdom - I wish I'd known then what I know now

“I wish I’d known then what I know now.” I bet you’ve said that before. We’re always smarter and wiser in hindsight because experience is a great teacher. “From the window of my house,” Solomon wrote, “I looked out the lattice and saw” people make all kinds of foolish choices (Proverbs 7:6-7). Every day, he observed people suffer the consequences for ignoring God’s wisdom. And that’s the difference between a life of blessing and a life of regret. That why’s Solomon said, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). Wisdom is respecting who God is and doing what God says.
