Words to Live By - Solomon

As the king of Israel, Solomon sat on his throne and observed how people lived. In Proverbs 7, he said, “From the window of my house, I looked out the lattice and saw” people make all kinds of foolish choices. Every day, he observed people suffer the consequences for ignoring God’s wisdom. And that’s the difference between living a blessed life and a life of regret. God created the world and designed it to work in a certain way, and He tells us the best way to live. That’s why Solomon said, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).
