One of the top characteristics of a disciple of Jesus Christ is living on mission. Specifically, the mission of personal evangelism, the privilege and responsibility to share the Gospel. The word evangelism often intimidates us, but it shouldn’t, because evangelism is simply telling people what Jesus has done for us and why we love Him so much. Telling people about Jesus is a Christian’s highest calling and greatest privilege. Evangelism is the greatest enterprise on the planet because it determines the eternal destiny of every person in this world. Devoted, passionate, serious disciples of Jesus Christ are not only convinced that the Gospel is true but compelled to talk about it.
