THEOLOGY - MAN - CREATED IN HIS IMAGE - And How It All Went Wrong

There are two verses in the Bible that summarize what is true of every person who has ever lived. These two verses summarize who we are and where we stand with God. One verse is glorious, and the other verse is tragic. Genesis 1:26 and Romans 3:23 declare twin truths about every person who has ever lived. In Genesis 1:26, God said, “Let Us make man in our image, according to our likeness.” And Romans 3:23 says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Both statements are true. Every person who has ever lived was created in the image of God and guilty of sinning against God. As we continue our series on theology, this message is on the nature of man. There is something wrong between us and God, a thing called sin. But one word can erase that. Grace.
