Can You Explain Why You Believe What You Believe?

In today’s culture, we, as Christians, are very much in the minority, and yet we are called to stand firm. And one way we do that is by lovingly explaining and boldly defending our faith. We must be able to explain why we believe what we believe. Peter said, “In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15). You know what you believe, but can you explain why you believe what you believe?
