“May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, he will surely do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24). As we continue our series on theology, this message is about sanctification. It’s a big word that means being set apart for God. It means begins fully devoted to God. It means being morally purified and living a holy life. Sanctification is about spiritual maturity and growing in our faith. The best way to understand it is that sanctification is becoming more and more like Jesus every day and in every way.
