When it comes to the theology of the Gospel, the most mysterious and debated topics are election and predestination. There are three mistakes often made when it comes to these topics. One is being hyper dogmatic and holding a form of the Gospel that is overly structured and rigid. Another mistake is ignorance of the doctrine, having never been taught what the Bible says about election and predestination or avoiding the topic because it’s too complicated. Another mistake is rejecting it. Some people reject it because it does not fit their opinion how they think God ought to act. But to reject the doctrine of election and predestination one must take scissors and cut it out of the Bible.
